Del Cielo — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, used and protected when you visit the Del Cielo website or make an enquiry about the property. We are committed to protecting your privacy and to handling your information in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

Del Cielo is a private residence in Corfu, Greece, offered for private sale by its owners, who are the joint data controllers responsible for your personal data. As this is a private sale, we do not maintain a public business address. You can contact us about this policy or your data at any time by email at DelCielo2009@proton.me.

The information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us through our enquiry form. This may include:

We do not collect any special categories of data, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How and why we use your information

We use your information solely to:

Our legal bases for this are your consent (given when you submit the form and tick the consent box) and our legitimate interest in responding to and managing genuine enquiries about the sale of the property. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Who has access to your information

Your enquiry is seen only by us, the owners. We do not share your personal data with estate agents, other third parties or advertisers. Your information may be handled by the technical providers that operate the website and deliver enquiry emails to us (for example, the website host); these providers act only on our instructions and only as far as needed to run the site.

Cookies and the property film

This is a simple informational website. It uses only the essential cookies needed for the site to function; it does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The property film on the home page is “click-to-play”: no video is loaded until you choose to play it. When you do, the film is served by a third-party video provider (Vimeo or YouTube), which may set its own cookies at that point and may process data outside the European Economic Area. You can avoid this simply by not playing the film.

International transfers

Where a third-party provider (such as the video service above) processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is governed by appropriate safeguards under GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep your information

We keep your enquiry only for as long as we need it. In practice, we retain enquiry data while the property remains for sale and for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, after which it is deleted. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at DelCielo2009@proton.me. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in Greece, this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA). If you live elsewhere in the EU, you may contact your local supervisory authority instead.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
