We are owners of Villa del Cielo (the Villa)  in Corfu and we offer this villa directly via this website wwwdelcielocorfu.com  for short term holiday rentals.

What information do we  collect?

When you visit and navigate our site and when you communicate with us via our site, we will not collect personal information about you unless you provide us that information voluntarily. We are also committed to holding the absolute minimum amount of information on you and only that which is necessary for us to properly perform our role as the suppliers of the Villa to you for a short term stay.

If you provide personal information  on our website or by corresponding with us by phone, email or making contact through social media or otherwise, we will store your name, address, telephone number, email address and maybe some “sensitive information” (see below) to facilitate providing information to you about your booking enquiry.

We may collect all or some of the information relating to you or other members of your party which may be considered “sensitive personal data” under the Data Protection Act 1998. We collect it to cater to for your needs or act in your interest, as guest tenants of the Villa.

This “sensitive personal data” may include: Names and contact/address details including mobile number and email address; passport details; special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition which may affect the chosen arrangements; and dietary restrictions (which may disclose your religious beliefs).

To use your name, address, mobile number, photo i.d. to complete your booking with u;

To use your email and mobile details to manage your arrangements, send you notifications and communicate with you generally;

To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;

To notify you about any changes to our Villa, or the services we provide at the Villa;

From time to time to contact you with information about special offers, brochures, new products, forthcoming events or competitions. If you do not wish to receive such information, you may ask us in writing not to receive it;

All details you give us in connection with your booking will be kept as part of our business records as may be required in case of legal dispute or by regulatory bodies;

To provide  you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you in respect of your booking and any future bookings;

To provide customer support before, during and after your stay at the Villa;

To comply with the requirements imposed by law or any court order.

We May Disclose Your Personal Information

Under certain circumstances and in order for us to perform our contract to our guest tenants of the Villa, from time to time we may need to disclose information:

To provide other suppliers of services and goods contact information in order for them to provide services requested by the guest tenants;

In the event that we sell the Villa business or buy any other related villa rental business, assets or shares, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business;

We may receive requests for information from government departments, the police and other enforcement agencies. If this happens, and we are under a duty of disclosure, plus there is a proper legal basis for providing your information, it will be provided to the organisation asking for it.

Other than as set out above and save insofar as is necessary in order for us to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, we will not share your data with third parties unless we have procured your express consent to do so.
